Angélica Fuentes Téllez

Angélica Fuentes Téllez is the CEO of Grupo Omnilife, a consortium anchored in the nutritional supplement industry in Mexico and in 22 countries worldwide. Most recently, Ms. Fuentes has been responsible for the firm’s major financial and corporate restructuring efforts. Today, as one of the leading 200 companies in Mexico, Omnilife enjoys annual sales of approximately $1 billion. Prior to this role, Ms. Fuentes served as Chairman of the Board of Grupo Imperial Corporativo, an important player in the domestic and international energy market, where she worked for 29 years and is still a member of the board. Fuentes Téllez has a long legacy in the energy industry. While General Director of Grupo Imperial Corporativo, she also served as President of the Mexican Natural Gas Association from 1996 to 2000 and as a member of the Natural Gas Council and the American Gas Association. She is currently a board member of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Advanced Studies at Juarez, as well as that of the Mexican-United States Chamber of Commerce, the Chihuahuan Business Foundation and BBVA Bancomer. Fuentes Téllez is a founding member of Americas Business Council, which aims to address important issues facing the Americas through idea-sharing platforms that serve to positively influence the next generation of leaders. Fuentes Téllez has a BA in Finance from the University of Texas.
